The SunSun HBL-701 is a powerful hang-on-back (cascade) aquarium filter designed for freshwater and marine aquariums from 100 to 200 litres. Combining mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration with an integrated surface skimmer, it keeps aquarium water crystal clear while removing floating debris and unsightly protein film.

The filter offers dual water intake, drawing water both from the lower part of the aquarium and directly from the surface via the included skimmer attachment. This helps eliminate floating waste, oils, and protein film while improving oxygen exchange and overall water quality.

Supplied with four filter cartridges, including mechanical sponge media and activated carbon cartridges wrapped in filter floss, the HBL-701 provides comprehensive filtration straight out of the box. The adjustable flow control allows the output to be tailored to different aquarium sizes and livestock.

Installed externally on the aquarium, the filter saves valuable internal space while producing a gentle waterfall return that naturally aerates the water.
