How to Use

1. Remove the protective cap from the tester.
2. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and gently dry it using filter paper or a soft tissue.
3. Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the meter.
4. Immerse the electrode into the test solution without exceeding the maximum immersion line.
5. Gently stir the solution and wait approximately 30 seconds until the reading stabilises.
6. Read the pH value displayed on the screen.
7. After use, rinse the electrode with clean or distilled water.
8. Press the ON/OFF button to switch off the tester and replace the protective cap.

Calibration Instructions

For optimum accuracy, calibrate the meter before first use and periodically during regular operation.

Step 1 – Calibrate at pH 6.86

1. Dissolve one pH 6.86 calibration buffer in 250 ml of distilled water (below 25°C).
2. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and gently dry it.
3. Press and hold the CAL button for approximately 5 seconds, then release it.
4. The display will flash 6.86.
5. Immerse the electrode into the prepared pH 6.86 buffer solution.
6. Wait until the display stops flashing.

Step 2 – Calibrate at pH 4.00

1. Rinse and dry the electrode.
2. Press and hold the CAL button for 5 seconds, then release it again.
3. The display will flash 4.00.
4. Immerse the electrode into the pH 4.00 buffer solution.
5. Wait until the display stops flashing.

Step 3 – Calibrate at pH 9.18

1. Rinse and dry the electrode once more.
2. Repeat the calibration process using the pH 9.18 buffer solution.
3. Wait until the display stops flashing.
4. The pH meter is now fully calibrated and ready for use.
