EHEIM Prefilter for External Aquarium Filters

The EHEIM Prefilter is an efficient mechanical pre-filter designed to trap coarse debris before it reaches your external canister filter. By capturing larger particles such as plant leaves, uneaten food, and waste, it helps prevent the main filter media from clogging, extending maintenance intervals and improving overall filtration efficiency.

Water is drawn evenly through the large intake surface at the base and passes through two modular filter baskets fitted with filter cartridges. The detachable Easy Klick baskets can be removed individually for fast and convenient cleaning without opening the external filter.

The pre-filter replaces the standard intake pipe and connects directly to compatible EHEIM external filters using the supplied telescopic tube. It can also be extended when used with EHEIM InstallationSET 1.
