The EHEIM BioPower 160 is a premium modular internal aquarium filter designed for freshwater and marine aquariums from 80 to 160 litres. Unlike conventional internal filters, the BioPower 160 draws water only through the bottom filter basket, forcing it to pass sequentially through every filtration stage before returning to the aquarium. This upward flow maximises contact time with the filter media, providing highly effective water purification similar to an external canister filter.

The filter features the EHEIM easyClick modular basket system, allowing each filter module to be removed individually for quick cleaning or media replacement. The included EHEIM Substrat Pro biological media offers an exceptionally large surface area for beneficial nitrifying bacteria, ensuring excellent biological filtration and long-term water stability.

The adjustable pump provides a flow rate from 180 to 550 L/h, allowing the filter to be tailored to different aquarium setups. The package also includes an air diffuser for additional oxygenation and a spray bar to create gentle water circulation when required.
