AZOO pH LOWER – Freshwater Aquarium pH Reducer

AZOO pH LOWER is a water treatment designed to safely lower the pH of freshwater aquariums. It helps recreate the soft, acidic water conditions found in many tropical habitats, making it ideal for fish species that naturally thrive in low-pH environments.

Lowering the pH can improve fish health, reduce stress, enhance natural colours, and encourage spawning and successful egg development in species that require acidic water. The product also helps aquatic plants absorb nutrients more efficiently.

In addition to adjusting water chemistry, AZOO pH LOWER can be used to remove limescale deposits from aquarium glass and to test rocks or gravel for the presence of lime. If the product causes foaming when applied to decorative materials, this indicates the presence of calcium carbonate.

For fish that naturally prefer acidic blackwater conditions, AZOO recommends using this product together with AZOO Double Black Water.

Dosage

When:

• pH > 7.0
• KH > 6°

Add:

• 10 ml per 100 litres of aquarium water to reduce pH by approximately 0.1.

Important:

• Do not reduce pH by more than 0.2–0.5 pH units per day.
• Shake well before use.
• Close the bottle tightly after use and store away from direct sunlight.
