Aquael VersaMax FZN-2 Hang-On Filter 800L/H for Aquariums 40–200L

The Aquael VersaMax FZN-2 is a high-performance hang-on-back (cascade) aquarium filter designed for freshwater aquariums and marine nano aquariums from 40 to 200 litres. Offering efficient mechanical, biological, and optional chemical filtration, it delivers crystal-clear water while occupying virtually no space inside the aquarium.

The filter hangs securely on the aquarium wall, drawing water from the lower part of the tank before passing it through the filter media and returning it as a gentle waterfall. This improves water circulation, increases oxygen exchange, and creates a healthier environment for fish, shrimp, and aquatic plants.

The large dual filter baskets allow different filter media to be combined for customised filtration. The supplied sponge inserts provide excellent mechanical and biological filtration, while optional media such as activated carbon, phosphate removers, or biological media can easily be added. The VersaMax FZN-2 is also compatible with the Aquael Multi UV-C Steriliser (sold separately) for enhanced water clarity.

The adjustable flow control allows the filter output to be tailored to different aquarium sizes, while the adjustable mounting angle ensures the filter sits perfectly on a wide range of aquariums.
