The Aquael Ultramax 2000 is a high-performance external canister filter designed for freshwater and marine aquariums from 400 to 700 litres. Featuring Aquael’s patented filtration technology, a built-in pre-filter, and an exceptionally large filter media capacity, it delivers outstanding mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration while remaining easy to maintain.

A standout feature of the Ultramax series is the integrated pre-filter, conveniently positioned beneath the filter head. It captures coarse debris before it reaches the main filter media and can be removed for cleaning without disconnecting the hoses or opening the filter canister, significantly reducing maintenance frequency.

The Ultramax 2000 is equipped with five spacious media baskets, providing enormous filtration capacity and allowing complete freedom to configure mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration. Included BioCeraMAX Pro 600 ceramic media and high-quality filter sponges ensure excellent filtration performance straight out of the box.

The One Touch Prime System allows fast, effortless self-priming, while the ceramic impeller shaft ensures exceptionally quiet operation. Integrated double shut-off valves simplify maintenance and allow the hoses to be disconnected safely without draining water.
