The Aquael Ultramax 1000 is a premium external canister filter designed for freshwater and marine aquariums from 100 to 300 litres. Built using advanced filtration technology and patented Aquael solutions, it delivers outstanding mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration while offering exceptional ease of maintenance.

One of the Ultramax’s standout features is its integrated pre-filter, conveniently located beneath the filter head. The pre-filter captures coarse debris before it reaches the main filter media and can be cleaned without disconnecting the hoses or opening the main canister, significantly extending maintenance intervals.

The filter includes three large media baskets with a combined filtration volume of 5.7 litres, allowing the use of a wide variety of filter media. Supplied with BioCeraMAX Pro 600 ceramic media and high-quality filter sponges, the Ultramax provides excellent biological and mechanical filtration straight out of the box.

Powered by an energy-efficient motor and equipped with the One Touch Prime System, the Ultramax 1000 is easy to start, exceptionally quiet thanks to its ceramic impeller shaft, and features integrated double shut-off valves for safe maintenance.
