The Aquael SAS Filter 500 is a compact surface skimmer designed to remove unwanted surface film, dust, floating plant debris, and uneaten food from aquariums. Suitable for aquariums from 20 to 500 litres, it helps maintain a crystal-clear water surface while improving gas exchange and supporting overall filtration efficiency.

Water is drawn through the automatically adjusting floating intake, where surface debris is trapped by a fine sponge pre-filter before reaching the pump. This effectively removes protein film and floating waste while keeping the water surface clean and allowing better oxygen exchange.

Powered by an energy-efficient 4.4W motor, the SAS Filter 500 delivers a maximum flow rate of 500 L/h. Both the water flow and outlet direction are adjustable, allowing the filter to be adapted to aquariums of different sizes and layouts.
