H.E.L.P. Advanced Soil Shrimp 3L – Active Aquarium Soil for Shrimp Aquariums

H.E.L.P. Advanced Soil Shrimp is a premium active aquarium substrate specially developed for freshwater shrimp aquariums. Manufactured using carefully selected natural materials, this Japanese-designed substrate helps create the ideal water conditions for keeping and breeding Caridina and Neocaridina shrimp while also supporting healthy aquatic plant growth.

Unlike ordinary gravel, the active soil naturally lowers and stabilises pH and carbonate hardness (KH), creating soft, slightly acidic water preferred by many ornamental shrimp. It also releases natural humic acids, which encourage breeding behaviour, improve egg development, support juvenile shrimp growth, and promote a healthy biological environment.

The porous 2.5 mm granules provide an excellent surface for beneficial nitrifying bacteria, enhancing biological filtration and helping new aquariums mature more quickly. The dark natural colour also highlights the vibrant colours of shrimp while helping them feel more secure.
