The AQUAEL FZN PRO 700 is a premium hang-on (cascade) aquarium filter designed for aquariums from 75 to 130 litres. Unlike many traditional hang-on filters, the FZN PRO features a submerged motor that starts automatically as soon as power is restored. There is no need for manual priming after installation or following a power outage, allowing the filter to resume operation immediately and helping to keep your aquarium stable without intervention.

The spacious filter chamber can be configured to suit your aquarium. You can use the supplied filter cartridges for quick maintenance or replace them with loose biological, mechanical or chemical filter media arranged exactly as you prefer. This flexibility makes the FZN PRO suitable for beginners looking for convenience as well as experienced aquarists who want complete control over their filtration system.

Designed with everyday usability in mind, the filter features a telescopic intake tube that can be adjusted to different aquarium heights, a large flow control dial for precise regulation and an adjustable outlet that allows you to position the returning water exactly where it is needed. Despite its generous filter capacity, the slim housing projects only 9.5cm from the outside of the aquarium, making it suitable even where space is limited.

Special attention has also been given to reducing operating noise. The submerged motor is naturally insulated by the surrounding water, vibration-dampening rubber supports minimise contact with the aquarium glass, and the carefully designed water outlet creates a gentle cascading flow instead of noisy splashing. The result is a filter that operates almost silently while providing excellent oxygenation and water circulation.

Maintenance is equally straightforward. The impeller can be accessed quickly for cleaning, while the complete media basket can be removed in one movement, allowing cartridges or filter media to be rinsed or replaced with minimal effort. For aquariums requiring crystal-clear surface water, the intake tube can also be upgraded with an optional adjustable surface skimmer without requiring an additional power source.
