AQUAEL FZN PRO 400 is a quiet, versatile and easy-to-use cascade hang-on filter designed for aquariums from 10 to 75 litres. With a flow rate of 320L/h and energy-efficient 4.5W motor, it provides effective aquarium filtration while maintaining a compact design that takes up minimal space outside the tank.

The FZN PRO series has been designed to give aquarists flexibility when choosing filtration media. The spacious filter chamber can be used with convenient dedicated cartridges, filled with loose filter media arranged in layers, or configured using a combination of both methods.

Thanks to the motor being positioned under water, the filter starts operating immediately after being connected to power without requiring prior priming. This design also allows the filter to restart automatically after a power interruption, while the submerged motor provides natural sound insulation for quieter operation.

The FZN PRO 400 allows the filtration system to be configured according to individual requirements. Ready-made filter cartridges provide a convenient solution for quick maintenance, while the spacious chamber can also accommodate your preferred loose filtration media.

Dedicated replacement cartridges are available in Standard, Carbomax and Phosmax versions. Different filtration media can also be arranged in layers or combined with a cartridge to create a customised filtration configuration.

The motor is positioned under water, allowing the FZN PRO 400 to begin operating immediately after connection without the need for manual priming. Following a power interruption, the filter can restart automatically when the electricity supply returns.

Adjustable Flow Rate

A large and convenient adjustment knob positioned on top of the housing provides continuous control over the filter performance. This allows the water flow to be adjusted according to the requirements of the aquarium and its inhabitants.

Telescopic Intake Tube

The telescopically adjustable intake tube allows the water intake point to be positioned according to the aquarium dimensions and substrate height. This is particularly useful for tanks with less conventional dimensions.

The cascading water outlet can also create surface movement, making the filter suitable for small marine aquariums where water movement is desirable.

Easy Cleaning and Servicing

Routine maintenance has been designed to be quick and convenient. A simple twist of the motor closure provides access to the impeller for cleaning and servicing.

The filter tray can be removed in one movement for cleaning or replacement. The housing lid opens easily and can be rested conveniently on the back of the tray while maintenance is carried out.
