The Aqua Nova NSF-C80L Corner Sponge Filter is a compact air-driven corner aquarium filter designed for freshwater, marine, shrimp, breeding, and nano aquariums up to 80 litres. Its space-saving corner design allows it to fit neatly into the aquarium while providing efficient mechanical and biological filtration with a gentle water flow that is safe for shrimp, fry, and delicate fish.

Powered by an external air pump (not included), the NSF-C80L effectively removes uneaten food, plant debris, and suspended waste particles. The high-quality porous sponge also provides an excellent habitat for beneficial nitrifying bacteria that naturally convert harmful ammonia and nitrites into less harmful compounds, helping maintain healthy and stable water conditions.

The compact corner design maximises swimming space, making this filter ideal for shrimp tanks, nano aquariums, breeding setups, spawning tanks, fry grow-out systems, quarantine aquariums, and small community tanks.

The dense sponge also supports the growth of microorganisms that serve as a natural food source for shrimp and newly hatched fry.

Installation is simple. Connect the filter to a standard 4/6 mm airline and an external air pump (sold separately). For additional protection, using an airline check valve is recommended to prevent water from siphoning into the air pump during power outages.
