The Aqua Nova NSF-C200L Corner Sponge Filter is a compact air-driven corner aquarium filter designed for freshwater, marine, shrimp, breeding, and community aquariums up to 200 litres. Its space-saving corner design provides efficient mechanical and biological filtration while producing a gentle water flow that is safe for shrimp, fry, and other delicate aquarium inhabitants.

Powered by an external air pump (not included), the NSF-C200L effectively removes uneaten food, plant debris, and suspended waste particles. The large porous sponge offers an excellent surface for beneficial nitrifying bacteria, which naturally convert harmful ammonia and nitrites into less harmful compounds, helping to maintain healthy and stable water conditions.

Its corner design allows the filter to fit neatly into the aquarium without taking up unnecessary swimming space, making it ideal for shrimp tanks, breeding aquariums, spawning tanks, fry grow-out systems, quarantine tanks, and community aquariums.

The dense sponge also encourages the growth of microorganisms that provide a natural food source for shrimp and newly hatched fry.

Installation is quick and straightforward. Simply connect the filter to a standard 4/6 mm airline and an external air pump (sold separately). For added safety, it is recommended to install an airline check valve to prevent water from siphoning back into the air pump during power outages.
